Job Summary
Are you passionate about creating inclusive workplaces and supporting individuals of all abilities? Steps is seeking enthusiastic interns to join our team in 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic social enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily operations across various departments, including training, events, and project coordination.
- Support the development and implementation of inclusive practices aligned with Steps' mission.
- Collaborate with team members on impactful initiatives and activities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented individuals.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- High school students - 3 days per week for 4 weeks (from 8 am-4 pm)
- University students - 8 weeks (full time, Monday-Friday from 8 am-4 pm)
- Graduates/Professionals - 4 weeks (full time, Monday-Friday from 8 am-3:30 pm)
All interns are required to: - Submit their CV plus cover letter which should include why you want to intern with us and the role you would like to apply for, along with the dates you are available.
- Complete a police clearance check (if over 18) with Steps support.
- Complete disability awareness training (online) before your start date.
- Commit to the dates and times as agreed upon after the internship is offered.
- Adhere to our code of conduct.
- Arrive with an open mind that is willing to learn.
- Reply to emails/internal messages in a timely manner.

Steps is a B Corp certified award winning social enterprise that provides access to employability and life skills training for the neurodivergent community alongside work experience and employment opportunities in our B2C and B2B organisations.
As a team of dedicated specialists in inclusion and social innovation, we believe in using social enterprise as a platform to develop the skills and self esteem of our learners so that they can be appropriately employed.
